It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Mr Roberto Guimarães de Carvalho, a Reserve Army Colonel and former military artillery advisor at Avibras, on Saturday 23 December.

Colonel Carvalho was an exemplary professional, an Avibras enthusiast and played a fundamental role in our company in the 1980s with the structuring of the operational functionalities of the ASTROS Missile and Rocket Artillery System, which is still among the best in the world today.

We express our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues who shared significant moments with him during his time with us.
